Nora began a later morning's start with a walk to the Musee D'Orsay to view the Impressionist exhibit. She was surprised to also find Whistler's Mother and the ability to view Paris from behind the large glass clock faces and a rooftop terrace. She walked from that museum to the Musee Rodin and saw the sculptures in the house and also throughout the gardens, including The Thinker, The Gates of Hell, The Burhers of Calais and The Three Shades. She walked past the rabbits in the Musee Armee and visited Napoleon's tomb and then the church of St. Louis that is connected to it. She discovered that the RER C line is partially closed so, instead of riding it, walked along the Left Bank of the Seine to the Ile de la Cite and toured St. Chapelle. Prior to its closing she was able to tour the archeological dig of Roman ruins that have been discovered beneath Parvis Notre Dame. Toward dusk she climbed the 400 steps to the bell tower at the top of Notre Dame and viewed the city and the gargoyles before looking for Quasimodo but settling upon finding his bell. After climbing down she had ice cream at Le Flore en I'lle on the Ile St. Louis. She then saw the creperie and the first hotel from mom and dad's honeymoon, and returned to the Left Bank and walked by the Sorbonne en route to dinner. Lastly she returned to the hotel after waiting for mom and dad to purchase tickets for the train to Versailles for the next morning.
