In the afternoon Nora ook an SNCF train to Chartres and toured the Notre Dame Cathedral where she saw its famous rose windows, the supposed veil of Mary, and stayed for Mass. She took the train back to Paris and ate at a creperie near the Montparnasse station than went up the 59 story Tour Montparnasse to view Paris at night. The Eiffel Tower was lit in black, red and gold in support of the German people due to the day's terror attack.
