Nora walked to the area of the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal that was, relatively, near the hotel, but Mass was just starting and to stay would have delayed her afternoon trip so she took Metro the Etoile and climbed to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. (The elevator wasn't working.) She then took Metro over the Seine to Place Pigalle and walked along Montmartre to the funicular which she rode up to Sacre Coeur. She visited the church and passed through the Holy Door and then climbed to the dome to see the view while mom and dad waited below. She then walked to Gard du Nord and recreated her photograph from twelve years previous. She took the train to Amiens and walked to the Cathedral to see John the Baptist's head. The head was in the Tesoro so she only saw a bone chip and a photograph of it, but the cathedral was beautiful and included a restored labyrinth. She took the train back to the hotel and had Chinese food for dinner at a restaurant around the corner from it.
