Pat and Janet arrived at the hospital about 20 minutes prior to her birth. We know that most of our fellow east coasters will insist that due to time zone differences she was born on June second, but official records dictate otherwise. At birth she weighed 7 pounds and 15 ounces and she was 18 and three quarter inches long. All tests that have been performed so far show her to be healthy, and personal experience shows her to be almost as happy as her new parents. Updates -- July 3, 2001: Nora now weighs 9 pounds and 2 ounces and she is 21 and a half inches long! August 2, 2001: Nora now weighs 11 pounds and 2 ounces and she is 23 inches long! October 1, 2001: Nora now weighs 14 pounds and 4 ounces and she is 25 and 1/4inches long! December 4, 2001: Nora now weighs 17 pounds and 8 ounces and she is 28 and a half inches long! March 5, 2002: Nora now weighs 20 pounds and 5 ounces and she is 28 and a half inches long! June 19, 2002: Nora now weighs 23 pounds and 5 ounces and she is 31 and 3/4 inches long! September 4, 2002: Nora now weighs 24 pounds and 7 ounces and she is 31 and 3/4 inches long! December 3, 2002: Nora now weighs 25 pounds and she is 34 inches long! January 24, 2002: Nora now weighs 27 pounds and she is XX inches long!

This chart shows length on the top, and weight on the bottom. Nora is a VERY tall girl. She's in the 97th percentile for height. She's in the high 70's for weight, but given her height she's actually very lean (see next chart). This chart shows head circumferance at the top and length/weight ratio at the bottom. Nora's head circumference is slightly smaller than average and her weight is on the low side of average relative to her height.
